2 Focus with a set aperture

Set of apertures :

Focs 1 : Canon D 30 70-200 2.8L IS USM to get the shallow depth and maximum impact of focus. Here the lens was set to 2.8 320ISO

Fence
This photo was taken with the lens focused at 6 mts

Here the eye looks up and down the picture.

Fence focused at 4.5 mts

In this photo the eye leads directly to the middle and the back.

Fence focused at 2.5 mts

In this one . The eye is pulled to the front of the frame.
You can clearly see the sharpness of the focus point. I am unsure what I like the most is the first or last photo .

Fucus 10.5 mts

As you can see I angled the lens to gain maximum depth and to fill the frame.

Focal Length 6mts mid way

Lens focal length 2mts
Focus 10 mts focus mid 10 mts

Focus also 10mts mid way
Focus 3 mts. this one I like the most !

Focal Length 135 iso 320 F5.6 1/15th
focal length 135 iso 640 F5.6 1/30th
Focal length 135 iso 640 F5.6 1/25
My conclusion is that focus depends on the subject as in the masks the middle one I favored. The most dominant part of the scene needs to be in focus. Depending on how the eye wants to lead.

i like those photos where the back ground and foregrounds are out of focus making the main subject stand out .
